The Center for Voting and Democracy:  covers various issues on elections including legislations, voting equipment, national and state news coverage and much more.

ELECnet - Election Administration Resources on the Internet: provides a comprehensive listings of US federal, states, and local elections offices on the Internet.

Federal Election Commission (FEC): offers information on federal elections including voter registration and turnout, elections results, presidential and congressional campaign financing, campaign finance law.

Follow the Money: created by National Institute in State Politics, provides campaign contribution information in each state including contributors and interests group.

Historical Voting Records: data from US Census including voting and registering information by race and gender from 1966 to 1994.

National Commission on Federal Election Reform: offers the financial report of the commission, background information, and video clips from hearings.

National Election Studies (NES): contains its research activities on elections, statistical data from NES survey from 1952 to the present, and searchable lists and abstracts for NES various election studies.

Office of the Clerk of the U.S. House Representatives: posts the official vote counts for presidential electors, U.S. senators, and U.S. Representatives for elections from 1920 to present.

Political Money Line: information on federal election campaign finance for congressional and presidential campaigns, lists of individual contributors, lists of Political Action Committees, lists of contribution by zip code. The data for presidential campaigns go back to the 1992 election and data for congressional campaigns go back to 1980.

Record of American Democracy, 1984-1990: provides precinct-level election data for all federal and state races at and above State House for 1984-1990.

U.S. Census: Voting and Registration: provides information on voting and registration by various demographics and socioeconomic characteristics.

United States historical election returns, 1824-1968 [electronic resource]: The Inter-university Consortium for Political and Social Research (ICPSR) has prepared historical election data for the years from 1788-1990. Note:access restricted to UCSD IP address. Use this resource from home.
