Reference Biography Location Guidelines

If a patron is looking for information about an author, it may necessary to go to both the reference biography stacks, and the reference stacks using the same call number to find information.

If a source has people and is biographical, it goes in the reference biography stacks
If a source is mostly biographical with a little bibliography, it goes in the reference biography stacks
Indexes to biography are in reference biography stacks
If a source has people and terms, it goes in the reference stacks
If a source has people and is not biographical (e.g. critical), it goes in the reference stacks
If a source is mostly bibliographical with a little biography, it goes in the reference stacks
