Also:
Lisa Clark and Marlayna Christensen conducted a stacks survey to identify
areas of the Tower that are extremely crowded. These subject areas will need
to be reviewed by the bibliographers and weeded. Bibliographers may begin
their review now. We discussed other types of materials that could be sent
to the Annex or SRLF. These include back runs of titles included in JSTOR
and additional backfiles of other journals overall. SRLF will accept 54,000
volumes from UCSD during the 2002-2003. This breaks down to 8000 volumes per
month. In order to reduce our footprint in CPNM, and with the advent of digital
scanners and enhanced document delivery, we may consider sending large sets
of microforms to SRLF. Bibliographers were asked to identify potential candidates.
